Welcome
Louisville Boaters!
We hope you find this site to be a
useful resource as you navigate the Ohio River through
the Louisville Area. The Ohio River is a wonderful
place to visit if you know where to go and how
to stay safe.
Our objective is to
provide the internet resources you need, whether
it be for a cruise through the area, rafting with your
favorite flotilla, or cooking steaks on the grill as
you spend the weekend on the hook. New boaters and
visitors will appreciate the information on local marinas,
and some links to local brokers are provided to help
your move to the next boat.

Check out "Local Knowledge" for
the kind of details that make for a smoother operation,
and be sure to visit the "Captain's
Blog" for
more good tidbits on what's happening locally. "Ask
the Captains" is a place for you to share your
questions with experienced captains. This is also where
you'll find good information such as tips on "locking
through" and docking.
Check back often for updates, and tell
your friends. See you on the water!
