Following are more exciting pictures from the 2011 Madison Regatta:

The #96 Spirit of Qatar engines and boat. The mechanic explained that these particular engines were manufactured by Lycoming.

Above, a dummy propeller. You'll hardly ever catch a glimpse of the real ones, as they keep them closely guarded like a NASCAR tire.

The Formula hydroplane, doing a qualifying run on Thursday then parked in the pit area.
